Facebook competition rules
VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW
Article 1. Organiser:
CAR2EUROPE, a brand of Automobiles Peugeot, a public limited company with share capital of €172,771,770, whose registered office is located at 45 rue Jean Pierre Timbaud - Case courrier: PY03/05 - 78300 POISSY, registered with the Versailles Trade and Companies Register under number 552 144 503 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser") is organising a game with an obligation to purchase (hereinafter referred to as the "Game") making it possible to win the prizes designated in Article 6 below.
Article 2. Eligibility:
The Contest is open to natural persons of legal age (18 years or older), residing outside the European Union, who have reserved at least one CAR2EUROPE vehicle with CAR2EUROPE or its agents, excluding:
- members of the staff of CAR2EUROPE, and more generally of the STELLANTIS Group,
- members of the staff of companies participating directly or indirectly in the realisation of the Game,
- spouses and family members of the staff of the aforementioned companies.
Participation in the Game automatically implies express and unreserved acceptance by the participant of (i) these rules, (ii) the rules of ethics in force on the Internet (charter of good conduct, etc.), as well as (iv) the laws and regulations in force on French territory, including in particular the provisions applicable in France to games. Consequently, failure to comply with these rules, in particular the conditions required for participation, any form that is incomplete or erroneous, contrary to public order or morality or validated after the end of the Game, or any violation of the other aforementioned provisions will result in the invalidation of the player's participation.
Article 3. Duration of the competition:
The competition will begin on 2024 April 17th at 12:00 AM Paris time and will end on 2024 May 16th at 07:59 PM Paris time. Entries received outside this period will not be taken into account.
CAR2EUROPE reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify or cancel the Contest in the event of force majeure or if circumstances beyond CAR2EUROPE's control so require, without CAR2EUROPE being held liable in any way whatsoever.

Article 5. Selection of winners:
- The winners will be selected by random draw from among the eligible participants.
- To be eligible for the draw, the entrant must have complied with the terms and conditions set out in article 4.
- If a winner does not respond within 15 days of being notified, his/her prize will be considered cancelled and another winner may be selected.
Article 6. Prizes :
The prize to be won is an Apple Watch Serie 9.
The aforementioned prizes may not be contested by the winners in any way whatsoever, nor may they be exchanged for cash, modified, replaced or exchanged for any reason whatsoever. If circumstances so require, CAR2EUROPE reserves the right to replace the prizes on offer at any time with other prizes of an equivalent nature and/or value.
Article 7. Use of personal data :
7.1 What are the purposes of the processing of your personal data by CAR2EUROPE and what is the legal basis for such processing?
a. Registration data required to run the Game.
To take part in the Contest, you must provide certain personal information about yourself (hereinafter referred to as "the Data"):
- Your e-mail address, surname, first name, mobile phone, photos and videos.
This Data is referred to as the "Registration Data".
This Registration Data is necessary for the performance of the Game contract in which you wish to participate. If you fail to provide this data, you will not be able to participate.
7.2 Who are the recipients?
CAR2EUROPE, whose contact details are specified in Article 1, is responsible for processing this Data.
The contact details may be transmitted, under confidentiality, to CAR2EUROPE's subcontracted service providers, in particular for the purposes of classifying participants and awarding prizes.
7.3 Is your personal data transferred outside the EU?
Your personal data is shared with Facebook (1 Hacker Way Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States) located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and therefore in a country that does not have an adequate level of data protection. 7.4 How long is your personal data kept?
The Personal Data collected and processed by CAR2EUROPE in the context of this Game will be kept for a period of 2 years.
7.5 What rights do Participants have?
In accordance with the Regulations in force regarding the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit the processing of, obtain a copy of your personal data for your own purposes or to transmit them to another service provider of your choice (portability), as well as the right to object to the processing of your personal data when such data is processed for direct marketing purposes.
You may also send CAR2EUROPE instructions concerning the fate of your information after your death.
You may withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on such consent. Similarly, pursuant to article L223-2 of the French Consumer Code, you may object at any time to being contacted by telephone by registering free of charge at https://conso.bloctel.fr/.
All these rights apply within the limits laid down by current regulations on the protection of personal data.

You may also exercise your right to lodge a complaint with the national data protection authority by sending your request to Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, 3 Place de Fontenoy - TSA 80715 - 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07, www.cnil.fr.
Article 8. Copyright and intellectual property:
By taking part in this Game, participants assign to the Organiser all copyright and intellectual property rights to the content submitted as part of the competition.
Article 9. Liability
Participation via the Internet implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the Internet, particularly as regards the lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation or piracy and the risk of contamination by any viruses circulating on the network, technical performance, response times for consulting, querying or transferring information, the risk of interruption and, more generally, the risks inherent in any connection and transmission on the Internet.
CAR2EUROPE may not be held liable in the event of misuse or incident related to the use of the computer, any malfunction of the Internet network, the Game servers, the telephone line or any other technical connection preventing the Game from running smoothly. In the event of technical malfunction of the Contest, CAR2EUROPE reserves the right, if necessary, to invalidate and/or cancel the Contest session during which said malfunction occurred. No claim will be accepted as a result.
Likewise, CAR2EUROPE may not be held liable in the event that access to Internet sites linking to the online appointment booking site, which enables participation in the Game, or to this site itself and/or consultation of these sites proves difficult or even impossible for participants.
CAR2EUROPE may not be held responsible if the data relating to a participant's registration does not reach it for any reason for which it cannot be held responsible (for example, a problem connecting to the Internet due to any reason whatsoever on the part of the user, a momentary failure of the servers for any reason whatsoever, etc.) or arrives illegible or impossible to process (for example, if the participant has inadequate computer hardware or software environment for registration, etc.).
Consequently, CAR2EUROPE may not under any circumstances be held responsible for, and this list is not exhaustive:
- the transmission and/or reception of any data and/or information on the Internet,
- any malfunction of the Internet network preventing the proper running/functioning of the Game,
- failure of any receiving equipment or communication lines,
- loss of any paper or electronic mail and, more generally, loss of any data,
- delivery problems,
- the functioning of any software,
- any technical or hardware failure that prevents or limits participation in the Contest.
More generally, CAR2EUROPE may not be held liable in the event of force majeure or an act of God beyond its control. CAR2EUROPE shall also not be held liable and no recourse may be taken against it in the event of the occurrence of events presenting the characteristics of force majeure (strikes, bad weather, etc.) partially or totally depriving participants of the opportunity to take part in the Contest and/or the winner(s) of the benefit of his/her/their prize(s).
Likewise, neither CAR2EUROPE nor its service providers and partners may under any circumstances be held liable for any incidents occurring during the use of the prizes after they have been awarded to the winners.

Article 11. Miscellaneous provisions
Any difficulty in interpreting or applying these rules shall be settled by CAR2EUROPE in accordance with French law.
Participation in this Contest is free of charge. Expenses incurred to participate in the Contest will not be reimbursed.
Any behaviour by a participant that may harm the image of CAR2EUROPE and/or be contrary to public order and/or morality may result in the invalidation of said participant's participation in the Contest.
Article 12. Applicable law and translation
This Contest is governed exclusively by French law.
In the event that these Contest rules are translated into other languages and there are differences between these versions and the French version of these rules, only the French version shall be deemed authentic.
